Jurassic Punk plot
"It took a rebel to change the movies."
Steve 'Spaz' Williams is not a name that rings a bell with most movie buffs. Veterans of the special effects industry know him well: a pioneer of motion capture and realistic computer effects who helped make the current film era possible, for better and for worse. This documentary explains why Williams' name makes his colleagues grin and cringe, sometimes at the same time. The film is a portrait of a drinking, charismatic, obnoxious self-proclaimed rebel who was his own worst enemy. However, his brilliance and tenacity allowed him to thrive in an industry that wouldn't normally take advantage of someone like him.
