Journal d'Amérique plot

Farmers on a pheasant hunt in the Midwest, a column of warships in the ocean, the wedding of an elderly couple and a boy who deliberately throws a dog off a riverbank that he can no longer climb. Arnaud des Pallières combined these and other archival images that never made it to the cinema to illustrate the American dream and the sometimes humiliating American reality.
