"There are thousands of cults in America, this is the story of one."

Award-winning filmmaker Ondi Timoner, follows four families as they leave an abusive South Carolina church who realize they've been part of a cult. The film follows them as they arrive at Wellspring, the world's only licensed facility that specializes in treating cultists, where they learn the true extent of the brainwashing they've all experienced. Finally, they return home to take the pastor and his wife to court, then try to rebuild their damaged lives.
