Jeune Cinéma plot

From 1965 to 1983, Hyères hosted the Festival International du Jeune Cinéma. An event that came at just the right time: the 1960s saw an international explosion of productions labelled 'young', which needed their own environment for dissemination and distribution, as only a fraction made it to a general release or a screening at a major festival. The festival has been thoroughly documented, from its first to its last edition.
