Jane plot

This documentary by P.A. Pennebaker offers a glimpse behind the scenes of the preparations for the play The Fun Couple. Here, the then 25-year-old actress Jane Fonda stands on the eve of her first Broadway performance. At the time, however, she was seen as nothing more than a pretty face and the daughter of the famous actor Henry Fonda. The director of the play, Andreas Voutsinas, also made his Broadway debut with The Fun Couple (incidentally, he also went with Jane Fonda).
