The Dutch-Bosnian filmmaker, journalist and musician Sergej Kreso travels to the Balkans together with the Belgian-African rock 'n roll musician Jack Roskam. Both reflect on the choices they made during the Balkan War. The film is a search for answers to the ethical and moral dilemmas that people face during war.
