"Exposing the Islamic regime's taboo on followers of the Baha'i faith"
Exposing the Iranian taboo of the Islamic regime against followers of the Baha'i faith. The Baha'i woman Nedereh and her 14-year-old daughter decide to sell all their belongings and leave their home in Isfahan to seek refuge in the west. The film takes us across the continents, from Turkey to Israel and the United States and back to Iran. We gain unique insights - from the underground Baha'i University (BIHE), to Iranian Nobel Peace Prize winner Shirin Ebadi and from the oppressed Baha'i peasants of the village of Ivel in the northern province of Mazanraran, to Abolhassan Banisadr, the first President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
