Into the Sea plot

Three young women, Irish surfer Easkey, Iranian snowboarder Mona and Iranian diver Shalha, join forces to introduce a new sport to Iran: surfing. Their journey leads them to the remote southeastern region of Iran, Baluchistan, where Mona and Shalha learn to surf from Easkey. All three believe in the power of sport to break down social and cultural barriers. This documentary follows these women as they encourage others to join them, making surfing accepted and practiced by the locals.
