Inschallah plot
Directors Judith Keil and Antje Kruska accompanied the Islamic pastor Sabri during the daily work in his parish for a year. Sabri manages a mosque in the Neukölln district of Berlin, but not only does it hold services, he also advises on family issues, regularly organizes discussion rounds on all kinds of issues and raises political questions in public. Although he always strives to mediate between different cultures and religions and advocates a modern and relaxed interpretation of the Qur'an in his Muslim community, Sabri is still considered too conservative and almost radical in the German public.
