Immortals plot

"Hopes and broken dreams of a new Iraqi generation."

Milo is a young rebel and feminist from Baghdad. Every day, she sneaks out of her house dressed in her brother’s clothes. By pretending to be a boy, she experiences a freedom that is denied to her as the daughter of a conservative family. When her father discovers her participation in the mass protests that shook Iraq in 2019, he locks her up. But Milo refuses to give up. She continues to fight for her own freedom and that of other women in Iraq, despite the dangers that this entails. Her fight ultimately forces her to make a courageous and irreversible choice.
