Îlé Aiyé plot

In the Bahla region of Brazil, people practice the Candomblé faith. An important premise of this religion is that people are part of nature. The essence of this belief and the accompanying culture is that the central meaning is not passed on through conversation, but through cultural expressions: song and dance. Candomblé has profoundly changed Brazilian culture. The influences on music, art, religion, theater and the like are highlighted in this documentary.
