Il Cantamaggio plot

An investigation into the social and political facets of the tradition of the ancient theater form called 'maggio' (May), which was practiced by Tuscan peasants earlier in May. For years it was almost extinct. The performers were children, the elderly and employees who incorporated their own deep-seated ideas about life into their performances.
