I Loved You plot

A poetic triptych about love and relationships. Part one revolves around Pavel Kogan and his wife Lyalya. Pavel is dying in their home in Jerusalem. All he wants is to return to Saint Petersburg, his former home. But Lyalya is convinced that the return journey would mean the death of Pavel. Every day in Jerusalem there is at least one more with her husband, she reasons. In part two, Sergey and Natasha (Provincial Romance), we see the wedding day of two young lovers. Completely against the wishes of their skeptical families, they choose each other wholeheartedly. Finally, the third part, Kindergarten: Sasha and Katya (First Romance), playfully questions the unconditionality of love.
