His work attracted a lot of attention from the media and the art world, and since then he has been traveling the world with his mother on his 'Woman in divorce battle tour'. The great absentee in the art project and the media attention surrounding it is the father who it all revolves around. He is a retired sea captain, who, according to Cees, has been keeping a protracted divorce case going on for fifteen years by constantly bringing new lawsuits against his ex-wife. In this documentary, the maligned father is physically present. He and his new wife show a different side of this matter. According to them, Cees is no more than a mother's child and a good-for-nothing and he and his mother are profiteers, who make a good impression with the suffering surrounding the divorce. Cees' father does not understand how his son could slip so far.
