Het Was Maar een Mof plot
It is autumn 1944, the last months of occupation in the Netherlands. 17-year-old German soldier Karl Heinz Rosch is stationed on a farm in Goirle, Brabant, near the front line. His story was taboo for sixty years, all the while his history remained within the four walls of the Kilsdonk family farm. They dared not speak for fear of being branded wrong. Even though two of the family's children owe their lives and posterity to that one German. Now the Kilsdonk family regrets having waited so long to say thank you. But where is the Rosch family? Are they still alive? Or is it too late now?
