Het Is Maar Haar plot

In this documentary Lotte Boon (22) and Lauren Verbrugh (22) go on a personal search for the meaning of hair. Or rather, the lack of it. Lotte Boon has the autoimmune disease Alopecia Areata, which means she has little to no hair. That's why she's been wearing a wig every morning for eleven years. But why does she actually do that? Why can't she be bald? Is it because society thinks 'her' is so important?
