Herr Pilipenko und Sein U-Boot plot

Vladimir Andreyevich Pilipenko has built his life's work in 30 years with scrap pieces on the Ukrainian steppe: a submarine. And believe it or not, the boat is functioning… at least, in the village pond. But Mr. Pilipenko wants more. He wants to prove that his boat can actually dive to the depths. Thus, with his boat, he undertakes a journey to the Black Sea, 400 kilometers from his hometown.
