Grimsel plot

The construction of a new dam is the reason for Liechti to fathom all the implications of this development in a cinematic way. Grimsel-West was the name of a project to extend the hydroelectric turbine in the Hasli Valley. It was proposed on June 30, 1988, but its implementation seems quite unlikely for the time being. Initially intended as a protest against the construction of a new dam, this film also attempts to understand the undercurrent of concern created by plans to exploit nature.
