Gebroken Verleden plot

Filmmaker Leendert Pot's associative search for his mother's past. Pot traveled through the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany to reconstruct a history his mother refuses to talk about. She therefore did not want to participate in this film. Pot meets his aunt and uncle for the first time on his journey. The film shows how different people react to personal and political events and confronts the viewer with the question whether you can forget the past by keeping silent about it.
