Gazza plot

The story of a brilliant footballer, Paul Gascoigne, whose brilliant performances on the pitch are coupled with a troubled private life and media frenzy. The film begins in Newcastle, in Paul's early days around 1985. There are footage of him fishing on a lake where he fishes today. In the summer of 1988, he signed with Spurs for a British record transfer fee of 2.2 million pounds. 'Gazza' then takes the viewer on a journey through headlines, news stories, World Cups, transfers and love.
