Futures Past plot

"A stock trader is like a medieval knight. When he faces another, he wants to defeat, destroy and exterminate them," said a wise narrator in Jordan Melamed's documentary about the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) - the world's largest futures exchange. ' and the latest trading floor that works with the 'open outcry' trading system. Traders stand in the 'pit' screaming their bids as if their lives depended on it. Melamed worked on the stock market for fifteen years, earned a fortune, then went through it again, but decided to turn his back on the stock market and pursue a career as a filmmaker.
