Anyone who sees musician Jean Claude Jones playing the double bass can easily overlook the fact that this sixty-year-old man is physically at the end of his strength. His passion for music is so great that at those moments his multiple sclerosis fades into the background. Since the late 1980s, when he was diagnosed with progressive disease of the central nervous system, the French musician living in Jerusalem has struggled with a slowly weakening constitution. In recent years it has become clearer that not only his life, but also his music, his gift to create, is in danger. In this documentary, the passionate musician is followed for a year, during which he gives performances, appears to still maintain a rich social life and puts a lot of energy into a talented student, who absorbs his knowledge like a sponge. But not only creating and loving play leading roles in his life; the advancing disease and the need to let go of things are becoming increasingly important.
