Forget Me Not plot

"It takes devotion to teach kids facing deportation"

At the Katwijk school De Verrekijker about one hundred and fifty children from the adjacent asylum seekers center are taught. For the enthusiastic teachers, the ultimate challenge is to offer the children a safe haven and to make the class day as normal as possible. The parents of the students at OBS De Verrekijker in Katwijk are asylum seekers who have exhausted all legal remedies. De Binoculars tries to be a normal primary school where children receive a good education and can play carefree. But after a series of forced evictions, it becomes increasingly difficult to provide the students with a safe haven. The situation at school becomes even more complicated when a new group of children from war-torn Syria arrives.
