Forêt Rouge plot

A group of activists fights to preserve a forest in western France that is being cleared to make way for a new airport. They successfully defy evictions and police violence, saving nature from capitalist logic. The film follows the political struggle while simultaneously documenting the doubts and hopes of the people who are building a permanently occupied area here, intended not only to protect a habitat but also to offer a different way of human, supportive coexistence.
