Flipping Out plot

"The extreme psychotic break these people experience is commonly referred to as "flipping out""

India is a popular travel destination among Israeli veterans. With the redundancy bonus in their pocket, they are heading east with planeloads at the same time. About ninety percent of them come into contact with drugs there. And not in moderation: about 2000 ex-soldiers strike out every year; they are flipping out. Shamir makes a direct connection between the drug use and the experiences of these veterans in the Palestinian occupied territories.
