Flana plot

In this documentary, director Zahraa Ghandour travels to Baghdad in search of her childhood friend, Nour, who suddenly disappeared at the age of ten. During her investigation, dark secrets emerge of families who reject their daughters and the tragedy of mothers and daughters separated—a fate she herself endured. While searching for Nour, she meets Layla, a young, determined woman with a similar story, which rekindles her hope that Nour might still be alive.
