File plot

Documentary portrait of Dutch people who live and work in their cars. How does the Netherlands spend its time in the daily traffic jam? Traffic jams are an irritating activity, resulting in a cacophony of motorists honking their horns, but in the end there seems to be little resistance from many people. Career coach Titia de Vries looks back on her failed relationship with a Senegalese. Psychic Tino Firorelli uses the waiting time to gather his thoughts about his wife's illness. The regular driver of SER chairman Rinnooy Kan philosophizes about a solution to the traffic jam problem and the Turkish satellite installer Ziggy Kayabasi dreams about returning to traffic-free Istanbul, together with the woman to whom he was married. Forced by force majeure, the closed world of the car turns out to be ideal for contemplation and self-therapy.
