Fé plot

The well-known statement 'religion is the opium of the people' does not apply to Brazilians; that's the point of this movie. In Brazil, religion is not a sop, but an important aspect of the daily life of people of all social classes. For many, their religious experience is even the most important pillar of their existence. In Fé we travel criss-cross with the filmmaker through the immense country of Brazil, in search of the many religious expressions. It is a colorful procession of priests, spiritualists and their followers that we get to see.
