Farewell, Herr Schwarz plot

Female director Yael Reuveny does what many young Israelis of her generation do and moves to Berlin. Most of all, she wants to have fun. This is considered an insult by the older generations, but Yael is sure that times have changed and the bad past can be put behind them. But she soon realizes that all the old prejudices still hold true and the influences of the past are stronger than she thought. In her documentary, the young Israeli woman searches for the traces of her own family history, in order to throw off the shackles of the past in this way.
