Facing the Dragon plot

Two women refuse to be silenced and underestimated in male-dominated Afghanistan. Nilofar Ibrahimi, one of the few women in the Afghan parliament, and journalist Shakila Ibrahimkhail have to survive in a country where patriarchy is skyrocketing. Both do so with incredible strength, but their choices require great personal sacrifice. This documentary follows the two women for four years.
