On November 28, 1979, an airplane with 257 passengers on board disappears during a scenic flight over Antarctica. It appears to have crashed on Mount Erebus. While police officers are busy recovering the bodies of the victims, an investigation team tries to determine the cause of the accident. How can an airplane crash into a mountain during the day?
