En Rig Mand plot

In part feature film and part documentary form, the film paints a portrait of the multi-millionaire Hans Smith, who amassed his capital as the owner of the Substral factories. Factories producing fertilizer for cut flowers and houseplants. Ironically, the film shows four staged days in the life of the millionaire that are a reconstruction of important episodes from his life. Smith, who was born in 1921 in the Copenhagen working-class neighborhood of Norrebro, enjoys his wealth.
