Elisabetta plot

The Ghanaian-Dutch filmmaker Elisabetta Agyeiwaa (1991) was born in Brescia, Italy and left as a baby in Friesland. There she grew up illegally and without a family, while another child took Elisabetta's Italian birth certificate and place in the family. In this documentary she makes one last attempt to find out what happened thirty years ago. Why her mother decided not to be her mother. And why she keeps bumping into the closed door of bureaucracy and no one has been able to help her to exist on paper.
