El Inmortal plot

In 1979, the Sandinista Revolution in Nicaragua ended the dictatorship of the Somoza family. Afraid of a second Cuba, the Reagan administration financed and armed the Counter-Revolutionaries. What followed was a bloody and protracted civil war that left deep wounds on many Nicaraguans. When Contras and Sandinistas met around the village of Waslala on April 3, 1983, the Rivera family was literally caught between two fires.
