Eigen Weg plot

Film portrait of visual artist Leon Adriaans. Leon Adriaans (58) works on the land during the day. He keeps horses, goats and chickens on his farm in St. Michielsgestel. In the evenings and part of the night he paints obsessively. His art reacts strongly to his 'farming environment', is a reflection of this, but is above all a representation of his inner self. Abstract and figurative representations alternate or arise from each other. Pieter Verhoeff portrays the painter Adriaans, who feels strongly connected to nature and is averse to artistic fashions and novelty.
