Dying plot

Sally, 46, bonds with her elderly mother as they discuss their daily lives. Bill, in his early 30s, lives stoically while his wife loses herself in anger. Reverend Bryant delivers a final sermon and then returns to the American South once more. The final months, weeks, and days of Sally, Bill, and Bryant.
