Dva Okeana plot

Polar bears, broken propellers, the icy cold and whiteness as far as the eye can see. The expedition is not heading towards the North Pole, but east, across the Arctic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. Until then, none of the boldest explorers had succeeded in this endeavor. It is not until the Arctic summer of 1932 that the coal-powered icebreaker Sibiryakov successfully makes its way through the Bering Strait. A team of expedition specialists around Vladimir Shneyderov, who previously weathered both the Pamir Glaciers and Yemen's heat, are close to the action with their sound and film gear. The result is an innovative documentary about the journey through the ice.
