Drowning in Plastic plot

Why is plastic so harmful to vulnerable coral reefs? Liz Bonnin heads to a remote island off the coast of Australia. It is a breeding ground for the great shearwater, whose chicks ingest deadly amounts of plastic. In the Coral Triangle she finds out why plastic is so harmful to the vulnerable coral reefs. And in Indonesia she witnesses the enormous pollution of the rivers, where the fishermen are forced to sell plastic instead of fish. Fortunately, she also meets the people who try to do something about it.
