Dorpsbelangen plot

Do the same laws and customs apply to village politics as to national politics? Van der Winden wondered and followed four councilors from the village of Maasdriel. A mushroom grower, a contractor, a former car salesman and an artist; they all represent a different party and each has its own interests. Souls are recruited at the hairdresser and conversations with 'the supporters' take place in a small kitchen.
