Dopamina plot
The family of filmmaker Natalia Imery Almario is in crisis when her father Ricardo is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. The condition causes the brain to stop producing dopamine, the hormone responsible for muscle movement and joy. At the same time, Natalia comes out to her parents. The former left-wing social activists do not understand this. In this documentary, the director interviews her relatives about their life stories and tries to achieve mutual respect and harmony within the family that would help her ailing father.
