Doculab Suriname plot

Suriname has a rich history and has many cultures with a great individuality. The diversity of Suriname is an often cited quality. Much of what has happened and is still playing out and developing is hidden from large parts of our community. This can be brought to life on the big white screen or on the more intimate TV in a home environment. “DocuLab Suriname“ is an omnibus film with six documentaries initiated on the occasion of 40 years of independence, whereby a documentary would be made for each anniversary year. The aim of this initiative is to stimulate a documentary culture for telling your own stories in Suriname.
