Dit Hoort bij Ons plot

Where does Dutch heritage go when a regional museum is forced to close? This documentary follows the first-ever participatory "de-collection," in which residents of Zoetermeer decide what happens to Museum De Voorde's regional history collection. They value nearly 5,000 objects, from everyday items to valuable works of art. Personal stories emerge, such as that of Miranda Querido, who donated a prayer book from 1744 to the museum. The documentary shows how identity, connection, and history merge in an emotional process of remembering and saying goodbye.
