Die Letzten Männer plot
Disappointed with failed relationships and the demands of local women, more and more Austrians seek happiness by marrying women from Thailand and the Philippines. The film's protagonist is Karl S., a teacher in Vienna in his forties. After his failed marriage, he is now looking for a lasting partnership and a woman who doesn't question her traditional role. His solution: a woman from the Far East. Karl S. gets his experience together and visits several mixed couples to get a clearer picture. The film accompanies him on his quest for the ideal woman and provides insight into the imagination of these "last real men".
