Much of the training of Auma Obama, the Kenyan half-sister of US President Barack Obama, took place in Heidelberg and Berlin. There she met the Nigerian-born director Okpako. He made a portrait of the 'other Obama', with a link to postcolonial African identity from a feminist perspective.
