Deutschboden plot

Documentary about youth in the German eastern provinces. Director André Schäffer tries to paint a picture of the young men from the new federal states. In doing so, he has to take into account the everyday problems of the people in the smaller towns of the former East Germany and is confronted with unemployment, alcoholism and extreme right-wing radicalism. But he also meets a rock band on his journey and learns to appreciate the taste of homemade white bread.
