Desert Haze plot

The American West. We have entered a world where human life seems impossible: a dry mythical landscape marked by absence. Absence of water, trees, life. In the beginning there was nothing. But then traces appear. "Desert Haze" tells a multi-layered story of the human presence in the American desert. The traces of history are related like geological layers. The film becomes a mosaic of different stories, which together form a special chronicle about America at the crossroads of past and present, myth and reality. From astronauts preparing future Mars missions, to archaeologists searching for remnants of military test aircraft, to Japanese country singers and the mysterious death of John Wayne.
