Der Imker plot

This documentary describes the history of the Kurdish beekeeper Ibrahim Gezer. Honey was a rarity in his youth, but he became fascinated with honey production and asked his grandfather to buy bees for him. As a result, he learned everything about the animals and the production of honey. He continued to follow this path consistently. With his own colony, he needed to build a solid and secure foundation so that he and his family could live a good life. But then the Turkish-Kurdish war changed everything. He was separated from his family and still does not know where they live. His apiary was destroyed by Turkish soldiers and eventually Gezer even had to flee the country. He found a new home in Switzerland and tried his passion for bees and honey. This made him a popular man in the Alpine country.
