Deftige Driften plot

Filmmaker Alwine van Heemstra is a baroness, but has never felt at home within the aristocratic milieu. Her debut documentary “Deftige Driften” is a personal search for the meaning of the norms and values with which she was raised. The common thread that runs through the film is Heemstra's own wedding to artist Berend. By marrying someone outside her own class, she breaks an aristocratic code.
