De Volgende Stap plot

In "The Next Step", the sequel to "Stap voor Stap" (1980), Marijke Jongbloed visited six of the former ballet students to see what has become of them, with flashbacks from the first documentary showing the dream of that time. view, compared to today's reality. Four out of six are professional dancers and speak of a lack of attention for their individual development. The fifth and most talented left for good to her beloved in Barcelona.
