De Schaduwwerkers plot

Lukaka is a pigeon with a twisted neck, which makes him see the world upside down. He tells the story of Usman and the Dutch Nothing Nut. Usman, a Pakistani pigeon fancier, works in a night shop. He is his own boss, unlike the Dutch Nothing Nut from the honey shop who is harassed by surveillance cameras and has to fear for his job. Together they embody the non-stop work rhythm of the world we now live in.
